![]() I myself won my own Cortana Chip from from. They appeared on EBay for astronomical prices, and who wouldn’t pay to have a part of a bit of Halofest rare history that they could show off to gamers over the world to at least say either “I was there and got one” or “this came from there and I won it in a competition”. ![]() Soon the gamers and Halo obsessive’s who couldn’t make it found out about the swag via the articles and posts from friends and websites who did make it to halo fest and the competitions started…many redeemable for the halo energy sword prop that was already on the market place but very few Cortana codes floating around which made the item that much more of a must have exclusive, to be one of the owners the people were going mad for that little blue minx. I unfortunately was not one of these lucky people to get to go so anything swag wise let alone exclusive was well out of my reach. Codes were given to people within the industry, to game developers, game websites and those of you who could make it to Pax. Many websites branded this item a rare Pax/Halofest exclusive a piece of Halo History. ![]() So when it was revealed that at Halofest Microsoft would be giving away LIVE redeemable codes for an avatar Cortana chip prop, which when the prop was selected a beautifully crafted Cortana appeared standing on the chip as she does in previous Halo titles. Now I know if you’re reading this you may be slightly halo obsessed, just like I am. This year at pax 2011 we had halofest, the celebration of the halo franchise’s 10 year anniversary, and what a celebration it was! ![]()
